Lactation Support
I am here to help create beautiful breastfeeding experiences.
Starting off on the right foot is my number one priority. I am trained to assist individuals who may be experiencing common lactation problems such as painful nursing, difficulty latching, low milk production, oversupply, pumping, formula supplementation, weaning, and more. Referrals are provided should you require further assistance beyond the scope of my practice.
Birth Doula
Free Consult- I would love to meet with you so that you can get to know who I am and what I offer. I offer in person at my office, at your home, on the phone or online.
Do not fret about being late to the game. I love taking last minute clients!
If you decide to hire me, you will have two or more prenatal meetings in addition to the initial consult.
The 1st meeting - We will discuss your birth goals and preferences. We learn what comfort measures may or may not work for you in labor. And if a partner is involved, I give him or her tips for how to comfort you in labor before the doula arrives. I always ensure to not take away from your birthing partner, whether they are a sister, best friend, mom, etc. Instead, I focus on building a relationship with all involved to maximize moms birthing experience. We are a team!
The 2nd meeting - to learn optimal fetal positioning, massage, counterpressure, water therapy, aromatherapy, rebozo, position recommendations, relaxation techniques, as well as tools and resources for family members to skillfully assist you during labor. I offer access to my extensive library of books and dvds, as well as other recourses you may need available to you.
*** For scheduled Cesarean births*** I will accompany you to the hospital and will not leave your side until you are successfully nursing.
Once labor begins, I offer continuous support to you and your partner. Sometimes I meet moms in their homes before they go to the hospital or birth center. Other times I meet you at the birth location – this is up to you. I offer a variety of comfort measures. I massage, encourage, suggest new positions, keep you hydrated and fed, and help partners understand and give them comfort too as well as assist them in being by your side. I understand and trust the birth process, but sometimes medical interventions are necessary, and I will help you process information when options for interventions arise.
Once baby is born, I will stay for up to 2 hours to help establish breastfeeding, finish my notes and to secure your placenta if necessary. This of course is the parents decision and also dependent upon the ever-changing rules due to the covid-19 pandemic.
Photographs of your birth experience if desired. When I am not needed in other ways, I’m happy to take photos or videos before, during, and/or after the birth. I am not a professional, but I will do my best to capture what I can, with consent.
I offer a postpartum visit where we can discuss and debrief about your birth experience, follow up on nursing, and how you are feeling and recovering.
Investment
$1,200
I require a $350 deposit to hold your due date. The remainder of the fee is due by 36 weeks of pregnancy. I offer payments plans that work for you.

I am pleased to offer customized placenta encapsulation.
Placenta consumption is a centuries-old custom most often practiced in Chinese Medicine. There is significant anecdotal evidence of the wonderful benefits.
